Student will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the field of network security and how it relates to other areas of information technology and how to implement and maintain network security, as well as how to handle authentication, remote access, wireless networks, and security groups.

Program Description:This is the first of two module required towards earning CompTIA A+ 2009 certification. The students will learn fundamentals of computer technology, networking , and security as well as understanding of the basic functionality of the operating system and basic troubleshooting methodology along with communication skills and professionalism.
Certification: The test that this series prepares students to take is a part of earning the CompTIA A+ 2009 Essentials (220-701) certification.
